Tidelli Celebrates the Reopening of Candyall Guetho Square in Salvador
On November 25, Salvador hosted a special celebration: the reopening of Candyall Guetho Square, a cultural space envisioned by Carlinhos Brown and entrepreneur Fábio Almeida. For this momentous occasion, Tidelli was chosen as a partner, bringing its design expertise to the renovated spaces.
A Connection Between Design and Culture
Tidelli introduced pieces to Candyall Guetho Square that embody comfort and align with the space’s cultural purpose. The Shell, Marina, Spool, and Mesh lines were carefully selected to furnish premium lounges and VIP areas.
Each piece reflects Tidelli’s handcrafted essence, perfectly resonating with Candyall’s values of social inclusion, appreciation for artisanal work, and promotion of community development.
A Space That Celebrates Its Roots
Originally opened in 1996 by Carlinhos Brown, Candyall Guetho Square is one of Salvador’s most iconic cultural spaces, celebrating Afro-Brazilian traditions and the unique identity of the Candeal neighborhood. As the home of Timbalada and the stage for their summer rehearsals, the venue vibrates with the music and energy that define the city’s history.
The latest revitalization project connected Candyall to five music studios, including the iconic Ilha dos Sapos, while enhancing the VIP area, premium lounge, and restrooms, which now feature air conditioning.
Design That Inspires and Transforms
Tidelli’s participation in the reopening of Candyall Guetho Square reaffirms the role of design as a tool for cultural and social transformation. By incorporating pieces that highlight artisanal craftsmanship and environmental connection, Tidelli reinforces its commitment to projects that promote inclusion and belonging.
Salvador now boasts a revitalized space where design and culture come together to celebrate art, community, and Bahia’s rich identity. Tidelli, proud to be part of this story, continues to transform environments, inspire, and connect people.
